What is Xapta Xur?Xapta Xur is a musical reality show organized by Baidix Association, aimed at promoting and nurturing local singers, lyricists, and composers. It is the biggest musical reality show in the Northeast, offering a grand platform for aspiring musicians to showcase their talents.

Who can participate in Xapta Xur?There is no age limit for participants. Artists from Assam and the North East can participate as vocalists, guitarists, or lyricists.

How can I register for Xapta Xur?Participants must provide basic personal information during registration. Minor participants must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, whose relationship will be verified by a document at the audition venue.

Where and when will the auditions take place?Auditions will be held in 12 locations across Assam, starting from August 2024. The locations are Guwahati, Tezpur, Lakhimpur, Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Golaghat, Nagaon, Pathsala, Bongaigaon, Goalpara, Silchar, and Mangaldoi. You can participate in upto three different audition centers.

What is the audition process?Contestants will have up to 3 minutes to perform one or two songs of their choice. Songwriters and composers can present one or two of their original compositions within the same time limit. Auditions will be conducted in a private room in front of the judges.

Is there a fee to participate in the auditions?Yes, there is an entry fee of Rs. 650 per contestant for the auditions. T&C Apply

What documents are required for registration?Participants must submit scanned copies of valid identity proof, age proof, address proof, and proof of relationship/guardianship (if applicable).
